Job Function
We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team in a part-time evening position. The ideal candidate will have experience in performing diagnostic MRI exams and be knowledgeable about imaging equipment and protocols.

• Verify patient identity and review medical records to ensure appropriateness of exams or procedures.
  
• Conduct thorough interviews with patients to obtain and verify medical history and assess risk factors.
  
• Explain procedures to patients, including potential side effects, risks, benefits, and alternatives.
  
• Set up equipment and acquire images according to scripts.
  
• Review images, make initial observations, and document exceptions from established protocols.
  
• Respond to medical emergencies and communicate data to radiologists.
  
• Provide post-care instructions to patients and participate in process improvement activities.
  
• Collaborate with residents, student technologists, and new employees to enhance imaging education.
  Requirements:
  1. Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiology (R) or Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
  2. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BLS) training required by the end of the orientation period.
  3. One or more years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiology (R) or advanced certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
