applications.Job DescriptionWe are in need of a Technical Support
Analyst (3rd Shift) . This is a full-time opportunity and is
remote.The Application Support Analyst must be able to work east
coast times. This position is Monday - Thursday 12 AM - 8:30 AM
EST.This is an amazing opportunity for an IT Professional with 1+
year of experience to join the team supporting critical business
applications for our client, a global Fortune 500 company. Gain

applications!What You'll Do
- Resolve process, application and software issues
withinLinuxservers, databases and other mission-critical
systems
- Communicate/escalate application related problems and issues to
key stakeholders, including management, development teams, end
users and unit leaders
- Test fixes and perform post-resolution follow-ups to ensure
problems have been adequately resolved
- Write technical procedures and documentation for the
applications including operations, user guide, etc.
- Perform routine maintenance and updates on applications and
servers
- Use knowledge and judgment to diagnose issues and problems as
they are reported into L3 and resolve these issues as quickly and
efficiently as possible
- Ensure that the L3 mailbox is routinely monitored and that all
inquiries and requests are resolved
- Isolates problem trends and ensures thattroubleshootingefforts
are completed for recurring problemsWhat You'll NeedRequired:
- Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Information Technology or
equivalent combination of education and experience.
- UnixandLinuxCommand Line experience/knowledge. (MUST HAVE)
- Knowledge of databases (SQL Server) strong preferred
- Ability to prioritize work
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exhibit punctuality and communicate effectivelyPreferred:
- Exposure to C/C++ is a plus
- Scripting andautomationis a plusPhysical Demands
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job
functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and
local standards
- Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary
most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to
attend meetings, etc.
