solutions for our community and shareholders.Role Overview:We are
seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Product Manager to
lead the development and commercialization of electrical components
like starters, alternators, batteries, spark plugs, and safety
equipment like rear view camera and object detection. This role
will drive product strategy, profitability, and market execution
while collaborating across technical, sales, and operational teams
to deliver world-class solutions for the commercial truck and
off-highway segments.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the product strategy, go-to-market strategy,
and commercialization plan for electrical components and safety
equipment.
- Own product line P&L, driving profitability, margin
improvement, and growth opportunities through product line reviews
and sales pipeline support.
- Define product offerings by identifying gaps, customer needs,
and competitive opportunities through market research, internal
analysis, and competitive benchmarking.
- Manage the full product lifecycle, including profitability
analysis, demand planning, and the new product development
process.
- Lead cross-functional teams through product development,
integration, and commercialization initiatives, ensuring alignment
with business objectives.
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, purchasing, and supply
chain teams to execute product roadmaps, identify customer
opportunities, and deliver solutions that meet market demand.
- Communicate product vision and updates effectively across all
levels, influencing stakeholders and driving alignment on
trade-offs and priorities.Education:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's degree or
equivalent preferred.Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in product management, marketing,
project management, or engineering, ideally in the commercial truck
and off-highway segments and/or in electrical and electronics
components.
- 6+ years of experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Experience with stage-gate product management processes.
- 5+ years' experience with electrical and electronics product
strategy.Skills:
- Proven ability to own and drive product roadmap strategy,
aligning with business goals and customer needs.
- Strong understanding of P&L, cost structures, and margin
improvement strategies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration
skills, with the ability to engage VP-level stakeholders.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and SAP
systems.
- Strong project management, critical thinking, and time
management skills.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to
40%.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to influence and
drive alignment across executives.
- Comfortable being out-front within the organization and
interacting at all levels with multinational teams.
- Passion for building products at scale with a focus on customer
experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven
ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners
and deliver strong results.
- Demonstrated ability in benchmarking and assessing competitive
landscape.
- Ability to work in ambiguous environments and overcome
challenges with a high degree of flexibility and professionalism.An
