Job Position: Maintenance Technician 1st shiftLocation: Macomb, MI 48044Pay Rate: $17.00 - $18.00 Shift: 1st and 2nd shift Description: Join our team as a Maintenance Technician I and play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on CNC Lathes/Mills, general machines, and Hobbers/Shapers, contributing to our production efficiency. This position offers opportunities for skill development in hydraulics and pneumatics through ongoing training with our Maintenance Technicians II.Responsibilities:

• Execute scheduled and assigned preventative maintenance on CNC machinery and other equipment.
• Maintain and monitor coolant systems, ensuring accurate documentation.
• Service and repair chip conveyors.
• Manage lubrication for production cells.
• Maintain the chemical storage area.
• Perform general building and janitorial maintenance.
• Monitor and record recycling activities.
• Assist Maintenance Technicians II with various tasks.
• Participate in training to enhance skills in hydraulics/pneumatics.
• Provide janitorial support as needed.
• Adhere to all housekeeping, safety (lockout/tagout), and environmental regulations.
• Comply with Quality and Environmental System requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, productivity, quality, and housekeeping.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience as a Machine Operator or Maintenance Technician.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent attendance record.
  • Availability to work scheduled Saturdays (6:00 AM - 2:00 PM OR 4:30 PM - 3:00 AM) and occasional Sundays. #TLRPG
